About CityClub Events

Forums are the cornerstone of CityClub programming. They are designed to increase knowledge of critical issues, build community, foster deeper civic engagement and provide opportunities to take action. Forums model citizen-centered democracy in their construction and are typically held over lunch. CityClub presents 35-40 public affairs forums annually including dialogues, discussions, and debates and offer direct access to leaders and newsmakers from around the region and across the nation. Forums address a wide variety of topics including global and regional business, arts and cultural affairs, public policy and economic affairs, leadership and civic engagement, health care, education, environment and transportation.
CityClub, recognized as one of the region's foremost civic and public affairs organizations, has a long history of hosting national speakers including General Colin Powell, Warren Buffett, Madeleine Albright, David Gregory, First Lady Barbara Bush, Tom Brokaw, Scott Ritter, Brian Williams and Bill Gates.
