Technology has come a long, long way in the years since CityClub was founded. Yes, that is an understatement. As an example: during our move, as we cleaned out our office and packed our things, we found boxes and boxes of speaker headshots. In the past, speakers had to provide physical headshots - often high quality 8.5 x 11's - for our promotional materials. (Some of us collected our favorites and posted them in our new cubes.) Now, of course, a speaker can email us any ol' photo they have around - we receive everything from professional headshots to casual photos a speaker may have taken that very morning for the sole purpose of sending to us.
Similarly, we have a photographer at every event who can send us all of the photos digitally - and we can upload them to a "fancy new thing" called Facebook!
